AIAC AT THE KAZAKHSTAN BUSINESS AND INVESTMENT ROUNDTABLE WITH PRESIDENT TOKAYEV AND THE HEADS OF CHEVRON AND EXXON MOBIL

September 22, 2025 – New York, NY American Industrial Acquisition Corporation (AIAC) Chairman L. M. Levie joined US business leaders in the Kazakhstan–U.S. Business Roundtable at The St. Regis New York, a high-level summit led by His Excellency Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The private, invitation-only program opened with a networking reception before moving into the formal Roundtable session, during which President Tokayev addressed assembled business and finance leaders. This was followed by presentations by senior government officials, global investors, and business leaders. Formal remarks focused on large scale trade and investment projects in Kazakhstan's resources industry, AI-based education sector, and consumer finance and banking sector.
In his remarks to the assembled business community, President Tokayev emphasized the strength of the U.S.-Kazakhstan partnership: "We view the United States as an important strategic partner and reaffirm our commitment to further strengthening multifaceted cooperation. Currently, over 630 American companies are successfully operating in our country. Among them are well-known brands such as Chevron, ExxonMobil, Boeing, Visa, Mastercard, Meta, Wabtec, and Citibank."
The President further underscored Kazakhstan's commitment to transparency and partnership, stating: "Our commitment to deep political and economic reforms, transparency and investment-friendly policy ensures equal conditions for American companies doing business in Kazakhstan and allows them to remain our reliable and long-term partners."

AIAC actively assisted the Kazakhstan Consulate in organizing the event by curating and inviting VIP guests from the US business and financial community. On Sunday, September 21, a day prior to the Roundtable, AIAC Chairman Levie and Richard Wiese, President of the Explorers Club, met for tea with Erzhan Kazykahn, Assistant to the President of Kazakhstan for External Affairs, Nurlan Zhakupov, CEO of Kazakhstan's Sovereign Wealth Fund, and Rauan Tieulin, Consul General of Kazakhstan, to discuss the opening of an Explorers Club Chapter in Kazakhstan. AIAC is a Partner of The Explorers Club and Mr. Levie serves as a Member of its Board of Trustees.
Following the Roundtable session, Mr. Levie hosted a reception and lunch for selected Kazak, US, Japanese, and French business and government leaders at the Metropolitan Club of New York, during which they discussed business opportunities in Kazakhstan. The lunch was followed by a private tour of The Explorers Club.
