 Davos, Switzerland - January 20, 2024: American Industrial Acquisition Corporation (AIAC)  participated in the 54th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, which took place from January 15th to 19th.

AIAC’s Chairman, L. M. Levie, represented AIAC and its business and philanthropic affiliates at the global event, joining over 300 public figures, including more than 60 heads of state and government. 

The meeting, themed "Rebuilding Trust," focused on restoring collective agency and reinforcing transparency, consistency, and accountability. It offered an opportunity for participants to engage in discussions around the latest advances in science, industry, and society, and to explore solutions for global security, trade, economic growth, and technological disruption.

The conference hosted world leaders, including China Premier Li Qiang, France President Emmanuel Macron, and EU President Ursula von der Leyen. Other notable attendees included heads of international organizations such as UN Secretary General António Guterres and IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva.

During his time at the World Economic Forum, Mr. Levie attended private dinners hosted by Ambassador Cindy McCain and the World Food Program, Prince Albert II of Monaco and the Prince Albert Foundation, and Shafik Gabr and the Shafik Gabr Foundation.  In addition, Mr. Levie participated in evening receptions sponsored by the Harvard Business School Club of New York and by the Wall Street Journal. 

On behalf of the AIAC Foundation and the Explorers Club, Mr. Levie hosted a private reception and dinner for 32 invited guests on the evening of Thursday January 18 at the PostHotel, and a smaller reception for 11 at the Europe Hotel.
